Jessica Sage, Producing Artistic Director
Jessica launched Rogue Theater Company in 2019, debuting her play, Fragments, followed by ’night, Mother, in which she played Mama. Jessica has acted on stage throughout the United States and Europe. She was seen locally as Emma in Oregon Stage Works’s production of Annapurna with Peter Alzado, where she also served as co-producing artistic director. Jessica has numerous movie and television roles to her credit, including Who Shot Patakango?, If Tomorrow Comes, and General Hospital, as well as televised PBS productions of Getting Out and Blithe Spirit. She has taught acting, written plays, and produced stage works for nearly four decades. She has directed nearly 40 theatrical productions, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Ashland High School. Jessica was awarded the “Extraordinary Theatre Artist” and “Ovation Award” from the California Educational Theatre Association (CETA), as well as a special Gubernatorial Commendation for her work with California Youth in Theatre.

Richard Hay, Emeritus
Richard has designed every Rogue Theater Company set since ’night, Mother. He is the Scenic and Theatre Designer Emeritus at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In 63 seasons at OSF, Richard designed 246 productions. He was the principal influence or created the design for all OSF theatres. Richard has also designed for the Denver Center Theatre Company, Artists Repertory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Mark Taper Forum, American Conservatory Theater, PCPA Theaterfest, The Old Globe Theater, Missouri Repertory Company, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Guthrie Theater, and the Kennedy Center.

Kimberley Barry
Kimberley is RTC's Production Stage Manager. She was a company member at OSF for 42 seasons, primarily as an Equity Stage Manager and Director of the Stage Management team. She toured with many productions in Oregon, California, Washington DC, Birmingham and London, England. She also worked with OSF's Education Department for 42 seasons. Kimberley has worked on every Shakespeare play and countless classics, new works and world premieres.

Brandy Carson
Brandy was Caroline Shaffer’s assistant director for Every Brilliant Thing with David Kelly and A Doll’s House, Part 2 with Peter Alzado, Audrey Cirzan, Robin Goodrin Nordli, and KT Vogt at Rogue Theater Company. She has been connected to the theatre and the performance business for all of her life: East coast summer stock, off Broadway, the trek west to tackle Los Angeles — its freeways and its film business. And then heading north to Oregon where she has done theatre and film work for the last 30 years. She read the role of Louise Nevelson in Edward Albee’s Occupant, and is a reader for ANPF.

Michael Ganio
Michael is RTC's Scenic Designer. Regionally, he has designed theater sets with Actor's Theatre of Louisville, American Player's Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cleveland Playhouse, Denver Center Theatre Company, Ebony Repertory Theatre, Geffen Playhouse, The Intiman Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Missouri Repertory Theatre, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center Stage, Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis, Seattle Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory, Syracuse Stage Company, Virginia Stage Company, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. He has designed opera sets with Chicago Opera Theater, San Jose Opera, Virginia Opera, The Mannes Camerata Opera Company, Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and 59E59 Theaters. Michael is a graduate of The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, Webster University, Merimac Community College Saint Louis, and New York University. He is a member of the United Scenic Artists Local 829. Michael currently teaches design at Dartmouth College.

robin heald
At RTC, Robin was the stage manager for Heisenberg. For several years, she stage managed in regional theaters (Stage West, Long Wharf Theater, The Philadelphia Opera Theater), summer stock (Williamstown Theater Festival), Off-Broadway (NY Public Theater), and Broadway. Robin has worked with Jessica Tandy, David Strathairn and John Madden (Salonika), Richard Dreyfus and Stockard Channing (A Day in the Death of Joe Egg), Linda Ronstadt (La Boheme), and Cleo Lane and Betty Buckley (The Mystery of Edwin Drood). She has taught creative dramatics to children of all ages in public and private schools in New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Ashland. In 2006, Robin founded the Pomegranate Preschool for the Arts at Temple Emek Shalom in Ashland, and headed the program for 14 years. At Pomegranate, she and her staff developed scripts and directed performances with children as young as three. Robin is also a kidlit author. Her fourth picture book will be published in fall of 2024.

Michael J. Hume
Michael appeared August: Osage County, and he is the moderator for RTC’s Tuesday Talks. He has directed Heisenberg,Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune and Tiny Beautiful Things for RTC. Locally, he has directed productions at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Southern Oregon University, Ashland High School, Oregon Cabaret Theater, and the Ashland New Plays Festival. Michael has also directed at Capital Rep, Palace Theater, Lexington Conservatory, Liberty State Company, among others. He is a member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers. As an actor, Michael has been at OSF for 28 seasons. He has performed at the American Conservatory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Seattle Rep, South Coast Rep, Kennedy Center, Folger Shakespeare Theatre, Hartford Stage, Guthrie Theatre, and Manhattan Theatre Club, among others. With his writing partners Jahnna Beecham and Malcolm Hillgartner, Michael wrote Dog Park and They Came From Way Out There! (OCT, Milwaukee Rep, Artists Rep) Allie Kazan and the Magic Mansion and an Irish Christmas musical, Parcel From America, which opened in Dublin in 2022 with a full Irish cast and music ensemble. www.parcelfromamericamusical.com

Caroline Shaffer
Caroline appeared in August: Osage County, and she has directed Every Brilliant Thing, A Doll's House, Part 2 and ’night, Mother for RTC. A 15-year veteran at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Caroline appears this season in Romeo and Juliet, and last season in unseen. Her local directing credits include multiple collaborations with the former Actor’s Theatre including a site-specific production of Conor McPherson’s The Weir at The Black Sheep Pub and Restaurant. She has directed several plays at SOU, multiple readings with Ashland New Plays Festival, and The Little Mermaid at Ashland High School. Regional acting credits include Seattle Rep, American Conservatory Theater, Indiana Repertory Theatre, The Milwaukee Rep, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Cal Shakes, and Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Off-Broadway: Brooklyn Academy of Music. Caroline was a founding member of “The Loft” collective in San Francisco.

Vilma Silva
Vilma is delighted to return to Rogue Theater Company in Doubt: A Parable. She previously acted in August: Osage County, Circle Mirror Transformation and MALA at RTC. Most recently, Vilma appeared in Sense and Sensibility for Great Lakes Theater and Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Other recent credits include Old Jo and Scrooge in the McCarter Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol and King Philip of France and Lord Salisbury in King John, an all-female and non-binary production in collaboration with the Upstart Crow Collective and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Vilma has been a company member at OSF for 27 seasons, appearing in over 50 productions. Some of her favorites at OSF include Destiny of Desire, Mojada, The River Bride, Water by the Spoonful, King Lear, Henry VIII, A View from the Bridge, The Taming of the Shrew, Gibraltar, Pericles, Two Sistersand a Piano, The Three Musketeers, and The Magic Fire (OSF/Kennedy Center). Other theaters include Steppenwolf Theatre, TheatreWorks, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Dallas Theater Center, American Conservatory Theater, and El Teatro Campesino, among others. Vilma represented OSF at Ten Chimneys as the 2011 recipient of the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship. Vilma dedicates her work to her parents, Vilma Perez and Silvio Antonio Silva-Re.
