Live theater can be a transformative experience for younger audiences. It offers a rich blend of entertainment, education, and personal growth, helping them develop empathy, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts while providing opportunities for self-expression and creativity. Through educational outreach, RTC seeks to encourage students to attend live theater by offering discount tickets to students and teachers from high schools and colleges. We offer informative prefaces before select shows (open to the public). Read more about our program. Cyndy Spear is a retired English and drama teacher. The performance on Saturday was superb. I also appreciated the preface. I think it was quite helpful to not only the students, but to us. The educator was great. I loved the car ride home—hearing the students' excitement over what they had just seen. Thanks to you and the Rogue Theater Company Team! ~Alma Rosa Alvarez, Professor, Southern Oregon University

Thank you so much for inviting us! I was truly blown away. You were so right, it is a MASTERCLASS in acting. I truly could not wrap my head around how grounded Ray and Dan were while playing so many fully realized characters. There was such specificity in bodies and voices. Inspiring! An honor to be there. ~Thilini Dissanayake, Actor, Former SOU Theater Arts Student
