Jeffrey was a member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival acting company for 20 seasons where he appeared in more than 50 productions, as well as performing in regional theaters around the country and appearing in television, film and radio. He most recently performed at Virginia Stage Company as Big Daddy in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Also recently at Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Great Lakes Theater as Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet. Other stage roles include: Dick Fuld/Peter Minuit at Yale Repertory Theatre's east coast premiere of Manahatta; Roger in the world premiere of Mother Road; John Heminges in The Book of Will; Henry IV in Henry IV, Pt. 1 and Henry IV, Pt 2; Bolingbroke in Richard II; Flip Benham in Roe; Henry II in The Lion in Winter; Enobarbus in Antony & Cleopatra; Clarence in Richard III; Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire; Claudius in Hamlet; Achilles in Troilus and Cressida; Antonio in The Tempest; Belarius in Cymbeline; Steve Heidebrecht in August: Osage County; Wagner in Room Service; Beralde in Imaginary Invalid. He originated the role of Joe Pitt in Angels in America, first performed at the Eureka Theatre in San Francisco and later at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Other theaters at which he has worked include Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, California Shakespeare Festival, The Magic Theatre in San Francisco, Empty Space Theatre in Seattle, Marin Theatre Company, The Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville and The Asolo Theatre in Sarasota. Film and television credits include: According to Jim, ER, Chicago Hope, Wings, Beverly Hills 90210, The Practice, Mars Attacks! with Jack Nicholson, That Darn Cat with Christina Ricci, Clean Slate with Dana Carvey, among others.
