’night, Mother, Marsha Norman's Pulitzer Prize winning play, is a portrayal of one woman's decision to end her own life and her mother’s attempts to change her mind. In their last evening together, the mother-daughter bond between Jessie and Mama is stronger than ever, making it possible for Jessie to end her noisy, cluttered life, and enter a quieter, calmer existence with closure and love.
